If I weren't carrying a camera...

...there are a lot of things I wouldn't notice, these strange trees for example. I have no idea what they are but a row of them lines the edge of the rhododendron garden in the Arboretum. Maybe they came dressed in costume for trick-or-treat night. What do you think?

I captured a dozen or so autumn images today, which made it difficult to choose one to post for my blip. I finally settled on these trees because they are so strange and ghostly-looking, at least in my imagination.
