Orla's Crying

When I'm sad about something, I tell Mum and Dad, "Orla's crying" (even if I'm not actually crying) just so they know. No need to tell them I was crying tonight - the whole street probably heard me. I was running around the living room and took a tumble, landing flat on my face. I was okay, it more a fright than anything. A bit of Waybuloo and some milk, and I was fine.

Dad picked me up from PapaNan's tonight. It's dark now when Mum and Dad come and get me. I know that the moon and stars come out at night, but we can't see them just now. Mum says that's because of the clouds. So I told Dad that the moon and stars had "bissahee-ad" (disappeared). I also had a bit of a disagreement with Dad in the car on the way home.

Me: A bus, a motor!

Dad: It's not a motor Orla, it's a car

Me: A motor!

Dad: No, it's a car.

Me: No, it's a motor!

Gran and Papa say "motor". There will probably be a lot of this going on as she gets older!
