High tide
Scottish Water will soon be vacating it's Livingston office at the Alba Campus.
I had thought I'd set up an evening shot as I left work. I didn't need to be at work as late as I was, if I were only waiting for it to get dark (that happens at about half past five now). But today was quite a busy day. One of those when I had plenty of things to get on with. After regular interruptions on the phone mid-afternoon things quietened down as it approached "home-time". So it was only than that I got into a groove with the work I had intended to do, and so thought it best just to carry on for a bit.... All that goes to explain that it was properly dark for this shot!
When I had arrived at the office, late morning, it had been beautifully sunny. At some point during the afternoon the weather had turned (not sure when, there are no windows out of the hot-desk room). I didn't feel like getting soaked whilst setting up a tripod, so held the camera by hand, underexposed, and hoped that I could fix it on the computer. Just about...?
