Yummy

It's our first weekend home in a number of weeks so we decided to do something local today. A farmers market in Lyttleton pretty much fitted the bill.

We'd never been before and expected a sorry affair (not big in NZ are farmers markets - the rule of the supermarket is why ...). Instead, a wonderful surprise. Not a huge market, but loads of super fresh goods, like asparagus, and these strawberries. I nearly choked at the price, but they are organic and early season, so a special treat.

I expect it will be the first of many visits, especially given that Lyttleton is a blip rich environment. Might head there for lunch one day this week and find an old school ...
