Aggressive or Assertive?

It's always a tricky one isn't it?

I have dealt with aggressive people who claim they are simply assertive. I have also met truly gentle assertive people who don't claim anything, they just are.

There are also times when assertive people you don't like get labelled aggressive ....

A lot of hurt has been dealt under the " assertive" banner. I don't tend to buy it- folk rub along fine.

But I now have some recent situations where it is time.....

Mighty trees stand where some nut refused to give ground.
