Coming home ( I detest check in lines)

Our flight to Madrid was at 2:40pm so we had some time to spend by the pool before packing and checking out. Our check out time was at noon and we had a slight panic as we were finishing our packing. The passports were nowhere to be found. I knew i'd put them on the bed earlier on. We had to unpack everything and lo and behold, there they were neatly tucked in between a beach towel and some clothes.
Our flight to Madrid was delayed. All the Iberian flights we have taken have been delayed !
We had a couple of hours to spare at Madrid airport and had dinner there. Our flight to London was also delayed. No surprise there. We were back home at 11pm and straight to bed.
