Ashley River, North Canterbury, NZ

Hubby and I had some time down at the river today. Even though it looks nice there was a bitter howling easterly  coming right up the riverbed, we didn't stay too long.

The colours of the stones, the ridge and the light on the water all appealed to hubby - his choice today.

Tomorrow I may be late with blipping as hubby and I are going on a day trip - don't know where, just get in the car and drive, with some stops for photos.
Sounds like fun and might be picnic time :)
