Polish Halloween
Here's one of the prettiest graves I have seen today, and ever, I think: Lusia Raciborowska's grave. 18 year old girl who passed away in 1899. The grave was made by an Italian architect and amazingly for a grave, looks really beautiful and romantic. It shows an angel (or a girl) leaving her coffin and rising to the sky...
Weather was beautiful today, so many people spent the weekend visiting the graves, cleaning them, decorating, leaving candles. That's how we celebrate Halloween and All Saints' Day (tomorrow). It's an opportunity to remember those who passed away, gather together, meeting relatives and spent nice time with family. Many Poles move around the country not to miss any grave of their relatives.
