Seed head and friend

The sun never broke through the clouds all day and the light was flat. Out for my walk I became interested in the patterns on the cow parsley seeds and decided to capture them. This image is actually an HDR and then selective sharpening applied (and various other layers).

It was not until I saw the image on the screen that I saw the spider. It just shows how you can be absorbed in one thing - in this case the seeds - and not really look.

If you look hard you can see various strands of the spider's web; she had been very busy. Try it in large
