Costa's Hummingbird
Possibly the best bird picture I have ever taken. It was only cropped slightly, with no contrast, color, or sharpening
This little lady was only 8 to 10 feet away with a nice background of sky and the fanning of mesquite branches.
ID of Costa's comes from the short tail with wingtips reaching to tip of tail. This may be a juvenile just beginning to show colors on the back. Also this individual has a yellow spot on the top of her bill.
