Sums it up!

We picked Gerry up from the shelter yesterday.

Generally he seemed to be fitting in fine.

Unfortunately, as the day progressed, it became apparent he came with problems/issues we were not expecting.

We felt we were unable to offer him the level of support he would need to overcome them.

It was with very heavy hearts we decided to return him to the shelter this afternoon.
