Glen Lyon
Although it persisted in raining for most of the day, after we'd risen late and had our huge lardy breakfast and several cups of coffee we took ourselves off for a wee drive and then a not very long wander along Glen Lyon, walking up from Innerwick through the woods to Bridge of Blagie. We had a nice cup of tea and cake at the Glen Lyon tearoom and then walked back along the road to the cars.
The whole point of going away is to not do very much and, credit where it's due, my brother Gerry is a master of the art of not doing very much. So we just took our lead from him. Had a late tea, packed the weans off to bed and cracked open some wine. Not necessarily in that order.
