One elm of a day

Up early with Juno but I had shopping to do.

What a beautiful morning, after shopping got Eco daughter up and everything ready for football. Picked up one of the other players on the way and out to Prestonpans.

We were playing the team at the top of the league, previously we had been heavily beaten, then only 2 goals in it, so what would happen today.

Halftime the girls were 3-1 down but they were playing superb football and they were all smilimg as they were enjoying themselves.

We were relaxed and just told them to keep playing the way they were. What a second half, the eco girls were outstanding and finished up drawing 3-3. Everyone played well but most importantly they were all smiling at the end.

I was quite emotional as a coach everything we have been working on so hard with the girls in training came together and it was the best they had played all seaon.

One game left we will finish third, we may have influenced who wins the league with today's result.

Back home, eco son was ment to have walked the dog, task still outstanding. So I took juno down to Kelso with me to pick eco mum as she was helping her cousin out at a craft fair.

A lovely walk along the Tweed, leaping salmon, paddling canoists and a wonderful wife.

A nice drive home cathcing up on things.

The social networking guisers have been at the door, I am sure they update facebook with addresses of people who have sweets. Switched all the lights of now as the local kids have all been round(and more), cup of tea and cake required.
