Pit and the Pendulum

This is my scariest nightmare from all the Poe stories. To be tied to a table and carved up like a Sunday roast by a swinging blade...

Caution Tech Stuff:

I would love to write a small essay on this one but I'm running late to do a balloon chase so here is a shotened version.

The background castle, the table of death and the pendulum were made from foamcore and hot glue and then stained.

I don't have enough ceiling height to stand with my arms out so I had to shoot myself in 2 parts and put the body parts together.

The torches were made with a votive candle, stretched out and then fire added.

The lightning in the windows were hand drawn in Photoshop by tracing a real lightning bolt. I blurred the image and then placed them in the window openings.

I would have loved to spend another hour playing but I must go. Enjoy...
