Relaxed!

At our garden cottage we had a hammock, something I have always wanted to try.
Today Grace and I had gone for some Ayurvedic treatment, a specialism in Kerala using warm oils for various treatments and afterwards you have to wait an hour before having a shower. As I had had warm oil poured on my head for 40 mins, designed to reduce stress and aid memory, I also had to wear a cloth round my head! So you are only getting to see my feet! It was wonderfully relaxing lying their listening to the pounding* waves of the Arabian Sea and smelling the herbal oils that had been used for my treatment.

*You can see the Arabian Sea in the background and although the term pounding is rather hackneyed this really was. During the night it sounded like thunder!

I gave the flip flops to my daughter - as you do -as hers were held together with tape after 7 weeks in India. So now they are off around South East Asia and may be even make it to South America in the New Year!
