we've nipped in for a quick lunchtime pint in the little angel after doing the abbey steps and running the gauntlet of the local photographers all morning -as penance for the previous three days of excessive boozing and a diet of fried B&B breakfasts.

given that it's hallowe'en and i'm in whitby with a few hundred goths, chances are that i'll come across greater photo opportunities, before the day's out. but given also the fact that i'll be pissed as the proverbial newt, by the time we're all tarted up for the night's entertainment, this'll do as a placeholder, just in case i 'derelict my duty' later on...
