Well, I dunno....

Spotted this while out with the beasts in the local park today. At first I thought it was some kind of fungi, but it seems to have almost flowery tips on some of the stems. Quite odd. So I've no idea what it is. Over to you blippers - I know some of you out there are quite keen on fungi so might be able to help...

To me it just looks like something that would creep up on Dr Who, if it were a little larger, that is!
