Fairy ring

Grey, dull and very wet but the fire is lit, the papers bought and the croissants eaten so not all is bad. I've been meaning to blip this little toadstool ring at the foot of a sycamore tree for some days - today's the day. I don't know what they are but I liked the way they cluster around the dark, damp bark and the little ivy trailing up it.
