Wet Autumn

Well, I had to do ONE real fall color photo. Went to the University of Washington Arboretum for a walk, with tripod. Should have gone yesterday when the sun was out. But today when we got there it was steady rain (might be better wet...) So I locked the mirror, set the timer and tried for larger DOF, and held the umbrella over the camera and tripod. It's still not as sharp as I want (I refuse to believe it's the kit lens...) but I absolutely LOVE red and green together so I do like the effect.
I am also encouraged to try for some more portraits in the future if I can muster the courage to ask for them........thanks....
