Palm Bark

Final photo from Barcelona trip, before heading home. Each morning I have woken up to the sight of this old palm tree right outside the bedroom window. It has been there so long that it is now leaning at a crazy angle and is held up by a couple of stout guy-wires. The bark is very coarse and wizened, so today's blip is a section of the bark of this senior citizen of the tree world.
