Northampton and lines of sugar

Very DOWN today the house is FREEZING ..we have come back to a cold part of the country Cornwall was so warm. The heating has been on solidly night and day since we came back but it's still cold I say to Shy 'I am so cold I am going to be ill' (how right I was )
we go into Northampton to warm up in the over heated shops it takes me 2 hours to finally get warm ...we buy an electric heater for the Study and it works a treat.
I am still in Cornwall in my head I am reading a book on Alfred Wallis by Sven Berlin written shorly after his death it's an intense book and talks of Alfred Wallis's mental problems he thought that there were devils in his bedroom and heard voices and I very cross that Barbera Hepworth refused to do his head stone and that it was left to that boring old fart Bernard Leach to tile his grave but I will reserve judgment until I see it for myself



with hind sight I can see I am beginning to get ill here as I am having hallucinations/nightmares at night about devils in Alfred's bedroom OOOOOOOOOOOO
