Grave in Trafalgar Cemetery Gibraltar

This is the very fine gravestone of Captain Norman of the Royal Marines, who was killed on board HMS Mars at the Battle of Trafalgar.

The victorious British Fleet put into Gibraltar after the battle. There the wounded were put ashore to the naval hospital. Alas Captain Norman died of his wounds.
