Yeah, I know...

...but it was just too amazing not to photograph it.

We bought our little Japanese Acer last summer. The garden centre had marked down the price because it was an odd shape: very leggy and bent over. After receiving a seriously severe pruning in late winter it has thrived this year.

And now...

It... is... glorious.
