Sinking leaf

On the way home I found another flock of waxwing, but the light was going and I couldn't get a decent picture. I might try again early tomorrow.

So a rather more static subject. This leaf is floating on the surface of the well within the Earl's Palace in Kirkwall. The palace is from 1607, but it was built around the well which may date from the twelfth century.
