A cottage in Lower Ollach
We were on our return from a walk on the hill above Braes Hall on the south side of Lower Ollach. We had walked up the hill beside the burn to the top of the cascades. and then taken the track along the top headiing northwards. The track winds down the hill to the Water Department Works and then on down past the Electricity Sub-station coming out on the Braes road in the heart of Lower Ollach.
How we never got rained on is a miracle but as we reached the bottom so the sun came out and we were rewarded with a couple of Rainbows. This is a photograph of one of the cottages that is set a little further off the road. I was able to arrange myself so that the rainbow arched over the cottage. The sea is the Sound of Raasay and that is the Isle of Raasay from the middle of the picture running to the right. The hill on the left, which is part of Skye, is Ben Tianavaig.
