But I Always Get The Last Word

My weekend started with a major fail of a blip adventure with Stine this morning (I'll let her tell the story if she cares too, if not I will!)...Awful.

Manda's birthday is tomorrow (the 30th) and she wanted to have Rob, Demi, Rek, Anthony Darling, and myself meet up in the city and do something. So Rob, Demi, and I took the train in and met them at the King Tut exhibit. Which was pretty interesting overall but rather disappointing when we found out that King Tuts body and headdress were not actually in this country. Win some lose some.

We then walked at our city pace across town to a posh restaurant called Tao. I say posh cause it was really all fancy rich people dressed to impress. After waiting an unbearably long time (even though we had a reservation) we feasted upon the most delicious of asian foods. For once I actually ate everything that was put in front of me (minus the shrimps which AnthonyDarling ate for me).

It was a lovely time. I'm glad I got to see Buttface even though it was odd cause we both knew it was only for a few hours. =[ But he's coming up here in a few weeks and I can't wait :)<33

Manda was coming up to Marist for the weekend anyway so she drove Demi, Rob, and myself back here. Arrived back at 2:30 amidst all the Marist party-goers dressed in their trampy Halloween costumes....and they looked at me like I was dressed funny for not being in costume.

Quote
"Life will break you. Nobody can protect you from that, and living alone won't either, for solitude will also break you with its yearning. You have to love. You have to feel. It is the reason you are here on earth. You are here to risk your heart. You are here to be swallowed up. And when it happens that you are broken, or betrayed, or left, or hurt, or death brushes near, let yourself sit by an apple tree and listen to the apples falling all around you in heaps, wasting their sweetness. Tell yourself you tasted as many as you could."
