A Rest

Carrying firewood is considered woman's work.
Women and girls source, cut and carry firewood on their heads.
They usually do it in groups, so I suspect the distance is short here.
On a daily basis women and girls of all ages set out before daybreak, walk more than 8 km from Mzuzu to the forest, and carry back a load of wood. If you see men carrying wood it will be for sale.
