Merceria

No fancy window dressing or expensive publicity for this little shop. What you see is what you get! I've just checked the dictionary for a translation of 'merceria' and the best translation is 'draper', although we don't really use that word much these days in British English. Lots of these little local shops, which specialise in just one or two items, still exist in the many barrios of Barcelona and I rather like them. I'm not a customer of this shop though!
