A life in the Blackdowns

By Sallyapple

Ford Street Trees.

I drive up and down this hill every day and it never ceases to amaze me. The road is quite narrow and in the summer it is like a dark tunnel with the branches overhead thick with leaves. In autumn as the leaves fall, the branches become more apparent and it resembles a tall cathedral. I haven't done it justice today - trying to dodge too many cars and it was very grey. Will return soon and try again.
