More food

another walk around the market this lunchtime savouring the gastronomical delights of the continent
huge pans of paella, tartiflette, polish stew, not so continental mexican, noodles and jamaican food.
This stall was popular...a Schwenkgrill, selling the biggest Bratwurst and Bockwurst I`ve seen being cooked on a huge circular pan over bbq coals, the smell was wonderful
I loved the Italian biscuits so much I went back and bought a slab of beautifully soft nougat flavoured with Baileys.
The almond tart was for Malc but it wouldn`t keep so I had it with a coffee tonight...rather nice it was.

Well p***ed off I am. Expecting Chris home @ 7, he`s just rang to tell me he`s got to go down to London to deliver some hospital supplies that got brought back last night by another driver who left them in the back of the lorry and didn`t tell anyone....won`t see him till at least 11o`clock now......grrrrr
