Lancaster goes nuclear

This is my favourite route home - taking the back roads which lead straight to our side of town. Not only is it more direct, but it offers the best views too. Coming home today there was a storm brewing over the bay and the light over Lancaster was apocolyptic. I'm sure there will be a far better picture than this out there, but this was all I could manage.

Whilst taking the picture a herd of cows appeared at the gate - they were rather sweet looking, calves from this spring I think. They must have some of the best views in cow land. Anyway, they reminded me that I had been a bit of one myself this morning....

However, The Dazzler didn't suffer too long, I spied a shop selling tickets to see Anysley Lister who is performing in a Kendal pub in December. Knowing he's a big fan I bought a couple of tickets, much to the bemusment of the shop keeper. I think he thought girls shouldn't know about guitarists. In truth I don't - but I wasn't going to let on.

At least the Megan the Moo from this morning has been forgiven and has retreated. For now.
