Ouchy Slippers

Bro3 described his new Mr Happy slippers as 'ouchy'

'Don't be silly, they're happy slippers, even Mr Happy's on them'
'No, they're ouchy!'
'Oh just put them on, you'll get cold feet'
'No, they're ouching me Mummy!'
'Where?'
'Here!'
'Ah, sooooo they are, I'll take them while you get some socks on'
'OK Mummy'

A broken point of a sewing machine needle was at the root of the 'ouchy' problem, clearly it had broken off and become partially embedded in the slipper when the character motif of Mr Happy was being stitched on. Not too good really.
Marks and Spencer customer services have been contacted today and I await their response......
