Blackbird Juvenile

This little blackbird has been spending time in our garden using it as an airstrip. He doesn't fly very far as yet, spends most of his time hopping ever so quickly. He is still being fed by Mrs Blackbird who is forever calling him as he gets a little lost amongst our plants, in particular the potatoes.

The day has been dismal, cold and overcast with some very fine drizzle. The house jobs have been completed as I would like to be outside tomorrow, the sun is meant to shine.
