Old and new

Today was a meeting of old and new ? my old life and new life coming together. My parents drove up to see us for the day and met the kids for the first time. The photo is taken in the grounds of the Chatworth estate, where we went for a walk in the afternoon after a rather fine pub lunch. I think the day was a success all round, and I?m not just talking about the roast beef, Yorkshire puddings and Bakewell slice.
