Fancy another slice?

I've been wanting to see a red toadstool for ages, and finally spotted one on a visit to Shapwick Heath this afternoon. It looks just as though someone's taken a couple of neat slices out of it!

A few more photos here. We'll be going back before too long as it's one of the best places in Britain to see a 'murmuration' of starlings making patterns in the sky before roosting. There are 'only' an estimated 120,000 starlings there at the moment, but at its peak they are estimated to be in their millions!
