Waterlogged Field, Midmar, Evening

A number of fields here in the North East never fully recovered from the persistent snows (and the subsequent meltwater) of last winter, and now have more or less permanent ponds such as this.

This shot was taken in the failing light of a grey afternoon, just a mile or two beyond yesterday's pylon, as I made my way home once again from my office in Banchory.
