Locked

Another lazy and uneventful day.

Dull weather made it all the less likely that I'd venture outside, and it was quite late by the time I got my act together and went for a walk. I found myself in some strange out-of-the-way places, still near home, but off my normal beaten track. Along the way I came across this rather sad old bench and couldn't help wondering why anyone would think that it needs to be locked and chained in place.

The day finished with a two-hour helping of The Event. I've been intrigued by the promo clips I've seen, and liked the idea of showing the 2-episode pilot as an intro. I think I could get hooked.
