Some Weird Weather 'Round These Here Parts
All last week Anna and I debated turning on the heat because, well, we were cold (and our house thermostat was under 60 degrees). But we decided to hold out for another week and we're glad we did because this week it has gotten up to 90 degrees outside and our house thermostat has climbed up to 76 on its own accord. You know, just your typical it's-almost-November weather. Wait...I thought we moved away from Southern CA!
As part of the weather weirdness, we've been having some rain showers. Today, the rain cleared for a while and we were treated to this rainbow. This picture doesn't do the scene justice, but there's definitely something eerie about seeing sunset-colored light cast on fall-colored leaves right after a rainstorm.
