Please do not obstruct the gate

I have to check that the ivy hasn't hidden the house number at regular intervals, as people say it's quite difficult to find me. The 'Please' was hand-painted, and needs renewing. Wouldn't want anyone to think I'm impolite.

The reason I have this sign is because I use a mobility scooter and if anyone leaves a wheely bin in front of the gate, or parks there, I can't get in or out.
