Intensity
All day I was very aware that it is now three years since Dan died, not that I don't think of him at other times of course.
He would love the fact that Donald and I still haven't got round to doing anything with his ashes.
I think if they still sat in the purple plastic jar when we were dead and gone too, he would just say 'ooft' and then drag on his ciggie with a smile and watch heavens version of Southpark.
The day was sandwiched with intense thoughts of Dan at the start, Mac classes all day, then the homeward journey from Edinburgh (fish supper) to my house, near where a large collection of hay bales were in full thrust of flames and intense heat.
Because no-one was hurt or injured, except the farmers purse perhaps, it didn't seem too disrespectful to take a few photos of the scene.
