Lovely day to take in the view towards Godrevey...

...but sadly not for one dog and its owner.

We had been asked by the Coastguard to send the Inshore Lifeboat (ILB) to assist the Coastguard volunteers in the search at the bottom of the cliff.

The ILB is right of shot and the cliffs near Godrevey lighthouse where the dog met its sticky end are right of shot. Not always a happy ending.
