Carving Pumpkins

It was the kids' first day back at school after the October holiday today. When they got home, they started to get their pumpkins ready for the Hallowe'en disco at the school tomorrow night. They sketched out their designs before cleaning the gunk out of the middle of the pumpkins. This is so much easier than hollowing out turnips used to be in my day!

Depending on the results of their carving, I may post the finished articles tomorrow...
