Evie comes home
On Sunday we got the great news that Abigail had finally dropped the new sprog. On Sunday, all we knew was that it was 13 days late and it was a girl and that mother and baby were doing well. We later found out that she weighed 8st 15lb and that the birth was totally normal.
Today we went down to meet her and welcome her back home from the hospital.
Henry and Archie are very protective of their new sister, making sure her head is supported when she's picked up and holding her very gently.
Evie (for that is her name) has already responded to Henry's voice when he calls over to her. This seems to be because He was always talking to her when she was in the womb. Pretty cool for a person less than two days old. I even think she is reading this blip.
Flick and I are well happy - both with the new arrival and the fact that we can start making plans again.
Congratulations Abigail and Neil (and Henry and Archie of course).
