Not Another Film Blip
Oh yeeessss. Today we had a relay where we had to race to create lighting set-ups. We paired in partners, Jennifer was my partner. One of us had to be a grip and one of us had to be a gaffer. I got to be the gaffer. It took me forever to know how to put the stupid barn doors on the fresnel and I could tell some of my teammates were getting frustrated with me but they weren't allowed to say anything. After I got it on, I said, "Personal victory!" and my teacher wrote it on the board. We were slower than the other team but we were a lot safer. So that was an interesting experience. Jennifer was real nervous, but she ended up doing better than me haha.
Earlier this day, I had gone to the sixth floor of the Social Science Lab building in order to attend my linguistics TA's office hours. It helped a lot, it was a little group of us. We worked on the midterm and I played with the dead little spider on the table next to me that had been smushed. Its legs were surprisingly pliant.
