Inspiration

My friend was getting really stumped on what to do for her art project. It had to do something with her developing herself as an artist. One of my ideas was to see areas in a different light, to take a space that you see often and then view it with an artistic eye. For example, we were just sitting in the School of the Arts's courtyard, which was very shadowy. However, there was just this little area where the sun was just hitting the ivy in the nicest way and I took a photo to illustrate what I meant. I am in no means claiming myself to be an artist, but the practice of trying to find things that inspire you all around you is something an artist would do.

In the end, I guess she decided to do her project on her apartment's refrigerator.
