Belgrade - Day 2

Another sunny and warm day in Belgrade!

Saw lots of contrasts of old/new, damaged/in tact, affluent/poor as we saw the sights of the city, including a great view from Kalemegdan Gardens of the confluence of the Danube and Sava rivers.

An open-top bus tour was on the cards, but we were informed by the tourism office that it was out of season and so we would have to join another closed-bus company at 10am tomorrow for the only English tour of the day. So we retired to a pub with outdoor seating and joined hundreds of other Serbs for some afternoon beers in the sun!

Lebanese food for supper, before a house-party in another part of town. That went on until 3am...
