Made in Cumbria

Today's the day ...................... for a Farmers' Market

On this day of typical Cumbrian drizzly weather, there was a market in the middle of Kendal. It was a sort of Farmers' market but there were other stalls selling lots of different locally-produced foods and crafts.

In the middle there was an area with animal pens and on display were beautifully clean herdwick sheep, chickens, geese - even a cow - that were all local breeds. I did take pictures of them all - but I liked this one of the farmer himself best.

Now if you looked at my blip yesterday, you could be forgiven in thinking that this was another picture of the Lottery Man but it isn't. It's obviously just the Made in Cumbria pedigree look ............!
