Momentum, Momentous

Not the picture - obviously! This one won't be joining the Blip hall of fame methinks.

Momentum - The A9 is the main arterial route north from Perth, passing through Inverness and on to Thurso. For a large part it isn't dual carriageway but work is underway to put in a third, overtaking lane on the long up hill drags. The road is notorious for car crashes, which are often caused by frustrated drivers taking too many risks. Today I was travelling up the A9 and got stopped at road works just north of Aviemore. The south bound queue was miles long - mostly due to this enormous lorry, towing a a rather large boat. They had to squeeze through the traffic cones . . . but once it was rolling there wasn't much chance of stopping it.

Momentous - this morning I shared some information about software with S & Cyclops. Momentous because Cyclops knows lots about lots of things, but particularly computers and software!
