300 (The Movie)

Thanks to my very smart husband. I asked him to think of something 300ish. He's a history buff - so of course, immediately, it was the Battle of Thermopylae.

This was a battle in 480 BC where the king of Sparta led his army against the advancing Persians; the battle is said to have inspired all of Greece to band together against the persians, and helped usher in the worlds first democracy.

Many thanks for the great community. Apologies for lack of commenting - racing with life - I'm sure I'll pull ahead soon. :)


ps This is a free screen saver so I hope I'm not breaking any rules. I think I'll keep it a while - I quite like it.
