New Bins

A bit of a non-day today. Spent rather a lot of it asleep, but did do a little housework, played the piano a bit, and have started using my lightbox very seriously. I also called the duty mental health worker and will see my CPN tomorrow for some help.

Life got just that bit MORE complicated today with the delivery of new bins. They also came with some information and a calendar of collection days - we now have a whole family of bins: waste, garden waste, recycling, food, and a small food! We can hardly get our act together to just put a normal bin out once a week - this is going to be even more of a challenge.

We got a booklet of information about how to use all these various bins. It had an FAQ page, but that didn't include the answer to the question "how on EARTH are you meant to keep a tub of food waste in your house and not have the thing emptied all over the floor during the night by your five cats?"

Maybe I'll call the helpline with that one!
